The multipurpose antifriction grease KROSS® Lithium EP-2 is manufactured by thickening an appropriate mineral base oil with a lithium 12-hydroxystearate soap and the addition of proper additives ensuring very good water resistance and adhesion and protection against oxidation, corrosion and wear and improved EP properties.
KROSS® Lithium EP-2 grease is shear stable and retain their consistency heavy duty operations. Exhibit reliable load carrying capacity and water washout resistance. This grease is not corrosive to non-ferrous metals and steel materials in bearings while providing adequate protection against rust formation.
KROSS® Lithium EP-2 grease is intended to lubricate and seal plain and rolling bearings, hinge joints and other mechanisms operated under high pressures, shock loads and vibrations. It is recommended for universal lubrication of industrial machines and equipment operated under heavy loads and adverse environment including long-term shock loads, high speeds, high humidity and very wide temperature range.
The operating temperature range of KROSS® Lithium EP-2 grease is from -30 °C to +120 °C.
Applications:
The grease is used for the lubrication of plain brass and babbitt radial bearings in rolling mills, screws and nuts of rollers, scissors, presses and the cutting lines of steel rolling machines and other metalworking applications. This is also suitable for the big roller bearings in mine, construction and marine machines and equipment operated under adverse conditions.
